(November 9, 2020)On Monday (Nov. 9) the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) reported 586 new confirmed cases and 15 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. DHEC also reported 2 additional confirmed deaths, and 3 new probable deaths related to COVID.

 

Anderson County reported 31 new cases of COVID.
Greenville County reported 102 new cases, one probable case and one COVID related death.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 3,778, and 263 probable deaths.

There were five COVID related deaths reported statewide.

This brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 3,778, and 263 probable deaths.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 3,921 and the percent positive was 14.9%.

There were 746 COVID patients in hospitals across the state. Of those, 194 are in ICU and 101 are on ventilators.
