Arrest made after shots fired toward house – Williamston


Williamston Police Officers arrested a one person in connection with a shooting incident in which shots were fired in the direction of a house located at 101 Bigby Street. Anthony Daquan Dean, 27, 18 Brown Street is facing charges of pointing and presenting a firearm, firing at an occupied dwelling and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the incident which occurred last Thursday.
According to Captain Marsee of the Williamston Police Department, officers and investigators responded to Bigby and during the investigation learned that a black minivan had stopped in front of the residence and that shots were fired into the air and in the direction of a house.
A Williamston patrol officer stopped a vehicle fitting the description of the black minivan at North Hamilton
Street near Palmetto High School. Pursuant to the stop a firearm and spent shell casing were found in the vehicle and retrieved for evidence. Dean was arrested and transported to the Anderson County Detention Center.
