New COVID cases drops below 25 in Greenville County

While the number of COVID-19 cases continues to drop to very low numbers in across the state, the Upstate Counties of Anderson and Greenville, along with York, are the three with the highest numbers.
On Tuesday (May 18) DHEC reported 112 new cases and 46 probable cases of COVID-19 across the state. Anderson County reported 12 new cases and 3 probable cases, Greenville County reported 16 new cases and 8 probable cases. York County reported 14 new cases and 3 probable cases. The rest of the counties have less than 10. There were only 2 COVID related deaths reported in the state. In SC hospitals, there were 319 COVID patients, 94 in ICU and 40 on ventilators.
