Six young people were injured in a single vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon on Willingham Road. The driver of the car apparently lost control of the car causing it to strike a tree. The first arriving QRV began extinguishing a fire while trying to remove the injured from the car. Two occupants were entrapped. Three other QRV’s and several Medshore ambulances also responded. One patient was flown to Prisma Health by MedTrans One. The other five were taken by ambulance. Whitefield, Cheddar, and Belton firefighters also responded. SCHP investigated the wreck.
