Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies made an arrest Saturday in a double homicide investigation in which two people were murdered at a car business on Hwy. 29 North, Williamston.
Shamacus Tyrel Adams of Anderson is facing two counts of Murder, one count of Armed Robbery and one count of a Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime in connection with the incident.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a welfare call at the car business along Highway 29 North in Williamston Friday night turned into a death investigation. Sheriff’s Deputies found a father and son, Ernesto and Kevin Blanco, already dead inside the business. Detectives quickly took over the scene and gathered enough evidence to track down the suspect and his vehicle in Greenville Friday evening.
Anderson County EMS, Medshore EMS and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Los Amigos Car Sales around 7:10 pm at the request of the decedent’s business partner. Upon arrival of First Responders, the two male victims were found deceased inside the business.
Chief Deputy Coroner Don McCown identified the victims as Ernesto A. Blanco, 53, of Pelzer and his son Kevin Ernesto Blanco, 23, of Pelzer.
Both victims sustained gunshot wounds. The deaths have been ruled a Homicide and an autopsy was scheduled for Monday morning. The investigation is on-going by the Anderson County Office of the Coroner and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
