Envision Williamston will hold a five week Spring Concert Series that will begin April 28.
Concerts will be held on Friday nights in Mineral Spring Park from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on April 28, May 5, May 12, May 19 and June 2.
The Jamie Wright Band will kick off the series when they preform April 28. The Jamie Wright Band specializes in Jazz, Soul, R&B and Dance. “If you have never heard them perform, you owe it to yourself to come out and enjoy their relaxing sounds,” Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby said.
The 2nd of the Series is on Friday, May 5, featuring the festive vibes of Latin Soul Band. This band specializes in Latin music, both old and new, and promises to spice up the 2nd annual Williamston Cinco de Mayo event. “Bring the family and celebrate some latin fun and including a Piñata full of candy,” Hamby said. The event will also include CINCO DE MAYO related activities.
The third event in the series on Friday, May 12 will feature the outstanding beach vibes of The Carolina Coast Band. “This band will have you shagging and longing for the warm sands and bright sunshine of the Beach. Come relax and unwind with Carolina Coast Band.”
On May 19 Kendall Lanford and Clearview will perform. Kendall boasts that she is thankful each day that God blessed her with vocal talent & the desire to entertain! Kendall Lanford and ClearView is an energetic country band playing music from the early 70’s, through modern day country hits.
Local band, the Tailgate Homeboys, will perform country music on Friday, June 2.
Food and Beverage trucks will be at each event.
“Make your plans to come on out to Williamston each Friday night beginning April 28 for free music and great fun,” Hamby said.
