The Mill Town Players presentation of “Under the Boardwalk: Back to the Beach” will be held this Thursday through Sunday at the Historic Pelzer Auditorium.
Featuring over 30 beach music hits from such groups as The Drifters, The Chairmen of the Board, The Clovers, and The Platters, this concert features local singers Beverly Clowney (Williamston), Zurik Long (Piedmont), Brian Reeder (Greenville), and Aviyana Suber (Pelzer) backed by a live 8-piece band. The show is directed by Will Ragland with musical direction by Velita Jones and band leader Greg Day. Under the Boardwalk also features shag dancers from the Electric City Shag Club.
The show runs through May 11 with show times of 7:30pm on Thursday and Friday and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday
Tickets are only $15, with $12 for seniors, military, and students ($1.50 processing fee added to all tickets) and can be purchased online at www.milltownplayers.org, by calling (864)947-8000, or at the door. Mill Town Players is an award-winning, non-profit community theater now in its 10th Season at the Historic Pelzer Auditorium at 214 Lebby Street in Pelzer.
