A motor vehicle crash on SC Highway 20, just outside of the Belton city limits, on Wednesday resulted in the death of a woman a Simpsonville woman.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore identified the victim as Debra Inez Lively, 68, of Simpsonville.
The investigation indicates that the decedent was traveling west on Highway 20, when she apparently traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The victim was entrapped in her vehicle requiring extrication by Rescue personnel. The victim was
restrained with her seatbelt at the time of impact.
The Anderson County Fire Department, Anderson County EMS, Medshore EMS, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded.
