Envision Williamston is planning two fun events next week.
A Summer Scavenger Hunt for all ages will be held beginning Monday, July 24 – July 28 and will be followed by a Staycation 2023 Camp-in Creekside on Friday, July 28.
Beginning Monday, there will be numbered and lettered rock placed in Mineral Spring Park that have to be found in order to crack the Envision Williamston Summer Puzzle.
A “Puzzle Sheet” will be available at Town Hall. Completed Puzzle Sheets can then be brought to the Staycation 2023 Camp-in Creekside event planned for Friday and Saturday, July 28-29.
Completed Puzzle Sheets will be entered into a drawing for prizes. The drawing will be held at the camping event and must be present to win.
The Staycation 2023 Camp-in Creekside will be held in Mineral Spring Park from 12 noon on July 28 to 12 noon on July 29.
There will be smores, outdoor games, a movie, misting tent and campside stories.
Families are invited to bring a tent and sleeping bag for the overnight camp-out in Mineral Spring Park.
Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby said the scavenger hunt and creek side camp-in will be “something fun to do this summer”.
