June 30 – Tyler McClain, 22, 416 Belton Dr. #4 was placed on trespass notice for Mineral Spring Park. Officer T. C. Grate responded.
June 29 – Hayden Lane Roberson, 28, 19 Edgewood Dr,. Williamston was issued a UTT blue ticket and arrested for loitering for drugs after officers observed a hand to hand transaction between Roberson and another person on Bigby Street. According to reports, when officers asked what he was doing he responded “nothing”, but then pulled a pack of cigarettes and a glass pipe out of his left front pocket. He also pulled a copper brillo pad and torch lighter from his other pocket. The drug paraphernalia items were confiscated and Roberson was advised to leave the area due to loitering for drugs. A short time later at the police department, Hayden and his mother pulled into the parking lot at the police department. Sheree Roberson thanked officers for getting him out of E. Carolina St. and told them she wanted him out of her car. Hayden was asked to step out of his mother’s vehicle and refused, even after being told he was under arrest for loitering for drugs, a jailable offense. With the assistance of multiple officers, Roberson was removed from the vehicle, placed under arrest for loitering and failure to accompany and transported to ACDC.
July 29 – Officer J. M. Cobb was dispatched to First St/Williams St. Ext. in reference to a suspicious vehicle. A white 2022 Dodge Challenger valued at $30,000 was recovered. No additional details provided.
June 27 – Officer F. S. Thompson was dispatched to O’Reilly Auto Parts, 402 East Main St., in reference to a larceny. According to reports, Dominique Maness, 20, 9 Academy St,. Williamston reported he had used cards from his wallet to make a purchase in the store the day before and that his wallet was missing. The wallet contained cards, driver license and $30 cash.
June 27 – Bradley Chad Davis, 39, 12 Traxler St. #16, Williamston was arrested for three outstanding warrants in West Pelzer after Sgt. Hart was dispatched to Burger King, 905 Greenville Drive in reference to someone doing drugs in the bathroom of the business. According to reports, the suspect had left on a bike before officers arrived. The suspect was located coming out of the wood line on Greenville Drive near E. Carolina St. where he was detained until West Pelzer Chief Stoller and Lt. Shook arrived. The bike was left on the side of the road near Mattison St.
June 26 – While patroling in the area of Williams St,. Officer J. M. Cobb recovered a license plate which had been placed against the railroad lights pole.
June 23 – Officer A. Brito responded to 304 Beaverdam Rd. where Terry Standridge reported he had found drug paraphernalia in a bedroom of his home. According to reports officers were shown a black zip up bag with items that could be for drug use. The bag was considered abandoned property, contained a small glass pipe, a silicone stand, a silicone pumping bulb with skulls, a hand grinding tool and a plastic container with an unknown amount of 22 LR rounds inside. The items were placed on hold for destruction.
June 23 – Officer. T. C Grate responded to 12 Mineral Spring Park in reference to vandalism in which black spray paint was on the Pickleball court wall said “Wake up White Man” with Nazi swastika on the left and right of the phrase. A PARD sign in the park was also vandalized with blue spray paint with a line through S and S. Damage was estimated at $200.
