Piercetown and Hopewell firefighters stand by at the scene of a single vehicle wreck on Midway Road near Keone Circle. Saturday afternoon. A SCDNR officer also assisted. A pickup truck apparently hydroplaned and left the roadway and struck the pole breaking it. Power lines fell onto the truck but the occupants got out safely.
