Wren firefighters responded to a report of a carbon monoxide alarm going off at a convenience store on Easley Highway Sunday afternoon. A detector alerted employees of a high level of carbon monoxide. Firefighters determined it was actually a carbon dioxide leak. Firefighters turned the carbon dioxide off and the store was cleared of the gas. Medshore and a QRV checked two employees as a precaution. (Photo by David Rogers)
