Whitefield firefighters, deputies, troopers, a QRV, and Medshore ambulance service responded to a single vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon on Midway Road. A pickup truck ran off the roadway and struck a bridge guardrail completely knocking it off. It happened near Autumn Drive. Four occupants in the truck were taken to the hospital.
