Piercetown firefighters, Medshore, a QRV, state troopers, and deputies work at the scene of a multiple vehicle wreck Sunday morning. It happened on I-85 near the Cherokee Road overpass. A driver and passenger fled the scene but were soon apprehended at a church more than a mile away. A church member/security kept the suspects from entering the church. Law enforcement soon arrived and detained the suspects. The injured were taken to the hospital. (Photo by David Rogers)
