The Town of West Pelzer, Town of Pelzer, Town of Pendleton, City of Belton, Town of Honea Path, Town of Iva, and the Anderson County School Dist. 4 Bond Referendum will be held on Tuesday, November 7.
Eddie Waits and Cruz West have signed up to run for the two open seats on Pelzer Town Council. Polling will be at Life Journey Church, 2 Wesleyan Dr. in Pelzer.
In West Pelzer Tom Scarfo and Tim Williams have signed up for two open seats on Town Council. James (Jim) Riddle, Sr. signed up to run for the open mayor seat. Mayor Blake Sanders announced earlier that he did not intend to run again for mayor.
The polling place for West Pelzer will be the West Pelzer Fire Department, 101 Main Street West Pelzer.
Anderson County registered voters, who qualify and intend to cast an early voting ballot in-person for the Town of West Pelzer, Town of Pelzer, or other Anderson County municipal election can still do so.
Early Voting will be open until Friday, November 3 and will take place at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 301 N. Main Street from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
When voting early in-person, voters must present a valid photo id. The acceptable forms of ID’s are a SC Driver’s license, a photo ID issued by the DMV, a photo voter registration card, or a U.S. Passport.
