The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident in which a stolen vehicle was left unattended and running and had a child inside.
According to Master Deputy Kory Morian, at 6:39 pm Monday, Deputies with Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7611 Augusta Rd (McDonalds) in reference to a stolen unattended motor vehicle that was left running and had a child inside.
Deputies later received a call from 104 Lakeside Rd. in reference to a person finding a child in a child seat on their porch. Deputies responded to 104 Lakeside Rd. and located the child that was left in the vehicle. The child is safe and was unharmed. The vehicle has not yet been recovered.
The incident remains under investigation.
