One person was injured in a single vehicle wreck late Friday night on Main Street in Piedmont. The vehicle left the roadway and went down a steep embankment. Firefighters had to remove the patient with a stokes basket in order to bring them up the embankment. Greenville County EMS transported the patient to the hospital.
