The Williamston Christmas parade and the Piedmont Christmas parade were both held Saturday. Both parades had been rescheduled from the week before, however the rain date turned out to be rainy day also. A break in the showers allowed just enough time for parade entries and those who wanted to be there to enjoy participating in the two events. The West Pelzer – Pelzer parade schedule for later Saturday was cancelled.
