Date Established: 2005
History: Our Church began in April 2005 with sixteen charter members who first met on Sunday mornings in the home of one of the members. The name Freedom Fellowship was soon adopted by the group and Rev. Joel Jenkins was called to be the first interim pastor as the group evolved into a Church. The Church later began meeting in a store front room at 1403 Hwy 86 in Piedmont that soon grew to two rooms. In February 2006 the Church became Freedom Fellowship Baptist Church, a Bible-believing, loving and caring place to be. In December 2006 Rev. James “Buckshot” Avant became our pastor and lovingly served us until July 2010. In June of 2007 the property at 41 Ray Road was purchased and the Church moved into its current location. Rev. Wayne Roberts agreed to become our pastor in March 2011 and faithfully serves our spirit-filled body of believers.
Bible Verse: John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If you are not part of a Godly Fellowship, we encourage you to come and worship with us. We would love to have you be a part of our growing, loving, and caring family. We are located on Ray Road off of Hwy 25, Augusta Road, across from Greenville Memorial Gardens.
