Planning Commission to consider rezoning property

The Town of Williamston Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 14, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Williamston Municipal Center, 12 W. Main Street when they meet to consider a request to re-zone property located at 304 Beaverdam Road, from residential to highway commercial. The Planning Commisssion will make their recommendation concerning amending the Zoning Map to Williamston Town Council. The property (Anderson County TMS Number 221-00-03-002) will be rezoned from R-1 – Residential to HC – Highway Commercial.

A public hearing will be held at the meeting. This meeting will be open to the public. Any interested party may appear and present oral or written comments at this meeting in person, by agent, or by attorney.

The Williamston Town Council will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendation at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 2, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Williamston Municipal Center, 12 W. Main Street, Williamston.

Public comment will be allowed at this meeting. The meeting will be open to the public. Any interested party may appear and present oral or written comments at this meeting in person, by agent, or by attorney.
