Woodmont Player’s present free performance at Pelzer Auditorium

The Wildcat Players of Woodmont High will present Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” for one night only at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Pelzer Auditorium. The unique one-act version of the play is set in the 1920s, is inspired by vaudeville and silent film performances and will feature two sets of identical twins.

\The production will be Woodmont’s entry into the SC Theatre Association High School Festival at the Newberry Opera House on Nov. 2.

The Nov. 1 public performance at the beautifully renovated, historic Pelzer Auditorium is free.

The following weekend, Woodmont will open its fall mainstage production of Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible,” which runs Nov. 9-18 at Woodmont High School.

Evening performances are at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:30 pm. Tickets are only $7.
