The Anderson County Democratic Party will hold its regular monthly First Saturday meeting on August 2 at 9 a..m. at the party headquarters, 115 N. Main St. in Anderson.
There will be reports of the success of a recent Barbecue and rally and of efforts to contact voters to inform them of the candidates and issues in the November elections. With fewer than 100 days until the elections, activity will increase, and those interested in assisting in the effort are welcome to join, a spokesperson said.
