In the play, Migrant workers George and Lennie dream of owning their own ranch someday, a story that gives them hope as they travel from place to place. When the impossibility of that dream meets harsh reality, it brings George to the brink of an unimaginably difficult choice.
Beloved by generations of readers and brought vividly to life onstage, Nobel Prize winner John Steinbeck’s classic Of Mice and Men is a heartbreaking and powerful portrait of the human spirit.
Of Mice and Men is directed by Christopher Rose and stars Upstate stage veterans Brock Koonce as Lennie and Matthew Merritt as George.

The Historic Pelzer Auditorium is located at 214 Lebby Street in Pelzer.
Of Mice and Men will be entered into the SC Theatre Association Community Theatre Festival in Charleston, according to Theater Director Will Ragland.
