Pancake breakfast to benefit Children’s Miracle Network

Sydney Crawford, Miss Greenville County Teen 2017, will host a pancake breakfast April 29 at Sweet P’s in Piedmont to benefit Children’s Miracle Network. Crawford is a resident of Piedmont and a freshman at Wren High School where she is in all honors classes, on the yearbook staff, a member of the JV Sideline Cheer team and Varsity Competition cheer team. She will be competing in the Miss South Carolina Teen pageant in June.The winner of the Miss SC Teen Pageant will go on to compete in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant in August.
“I am very excited to represent my community and surrounding areas, and hopefully be your state representative at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen,” Crawford said. “This is a commitment that I take very seriously, as I am representing a place that is very dear to me.”
“As I make appearances to promote my platform, “Bent, But Not Broken” scoliosis awareness, I hope to be in contact with thousands of people. I need all of the support of my community and Greenville County to make this dream possible.”
“I am hosting a pancake breakfast at Sweet P’s in Piedmont on April 29th. I would love for my community to come out and meet me and learn about my platform.”
Tickets are $7 and are available in advance or at the door. Pancakes, bacon, and fruit are included as well as coffee or tea. Proceeds from this event go to Children’s Miracle Network, which provides many necessities to our local Children’s hospital at GHS.
