Williamston firefighters stabilize an SUV after it wrecked at the intersection of Cherokee Road and Mauldin Street Saturday night. The vehicle struck a tree and became precariously positioned over a ravine. Once the vehicle was deemed safe firefighters, Pelzer EMS, and Medshore personnel removed the driver. He was taken to an area hospital. A passenger was not injured.
