The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery Monday night at the Dollar General, located at 495 Hwy. 418 in South Greenville County.
According to reports, at approximately 9:00 pm, deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Dollar General in reference to an armed robbery. When deputies arrived on scene, they learned that a white male, wearing a gorilla mask, camouflaged jacket and hat, went behind the counter and held the clerk at gunpoint, while demanding money. Once the employee hollered, the suspect took off running out of the store without any money or merchandise. Greenville County Investigators are requesting that anyone with information regarding this case, to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME. No photographs are available at this time.
