“The Grand Gallery’s mission is recognizing emerging talent in our region,” said gallery director, Andy Gambrell, who visited the studios of fine art majors at Anderson University.  After critiquing the work of many wonderful young artists, he curated a selection of paintings by five exceptional students.  “This exhibition features a selection of some of the most promising emerging art produced in Upstate South Carolina,” Gambrell said. ““I was happy to see that we had a good turn out.  I counted 38 people. As we continue, I’m sure it will grow organically.  It just makes me
happy to see so many people in our community so genuinely engaged with
the art and the artists.”
