Williamston Christmas Parade to be held November 27

The Williamston Christmas Parade will be held at 4 p.m. Nov. 27, which is the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
The parade will be held as part of the Winter Wonderland and Christmas Lighting event scheduled for that day.

Pre-registration will be held at 3 pm at Palmetto High School parking lot. Late Registration will begin at 3:20. Every entry must register and have an entry number. Organizers said the pre-registration is highly recommended as check-in will go faster.
Entry Numbers will be given out at check-in and must be displayed on the passenger side of the entry to be allowed into the parade route.
The Parade route will begin at Palmetto High School and end at the intersection of Academy Street and Anderson Drive (West Main) just past the Haven of Rest.
Line up is first come regardless of entry number. A representative of the Williamston Fire Department will check entry numbers and instruct when to enter the parade route. Organizers ask that parade entries please keep two car lengths between you and the entry in front of you.
No entry may have a SANTA! Santa hats/shirts are allowed. Horses must be at the end behind Santa.
Candy can not be thrown from entries. It may be carefully tossed or handed out by walkers.
Inappropriate entries or behavior will not be allowed.
Judges will be in front of Town Hall.
Any decision to cancel or postpone the parade due to inclement weather will be made the day of the parade around noon and will be posted on the Town Facebook page or the Christmas Parade Facebook page. Emails will not be checked the day of the parade.
