Anderson County Legislative Delegation to consider appointments, budgets

Representative Anne J. Thayer, Chairman of the Anderson County Legislative Delegation, has called a Delegation Meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 13, at 4 p.m. at the Ronald Townsend Government Building, 2404 N. Main St., Anderson.
The Delegation will consider appointments to a number of boards and commission and review and consider budgets for the Anderson County Board of Education, Anderson County Alternative School, Anderson Career and Technology Center and Anderson County Fire Protection Commission.
Appointments to the following boards and commissions will be considered:
· Anderson County Disabilities and Special Needs Board (One Seat)
· Anderson County Social Services Board (One Seat)
· Foster Care Review Board 10-C (One Seat)
· Tri-County Technical College Commission (One Seat)
· Voter Registration & Election Commission (One At-Large Seat)
· Big Creek Water & Sewerage District Board (Four Seats)
· Hammond Water District Board (Two Seats)
· Sandy Springs Water District Board (Two Seats)
· Starr-Iva Water District Board (One Seat)
· Anderson County Forestry Board (One Seat)
Anyone interested in applying for appointment to any of the above-mentioned boards or commissions, please contact the Anderson County Legislative Delegation Office at 864-260-4025 immediately for an application or go online to www.andersoncountysc.org, select Departments, then select Legislative Delegation. These applications must be completed and returned to the Delegation Office (Post Office Box 8002, Anderson, SC 29622) no later than Friday, May 26.
