Council discussed removing a three way stop at the intersection of Holiday Street and Marguerite Street and had planned to hold a public hearing in July, however after receiving information, voted 3-1 against the proposal. Councilmember Johnny Rogers had requested the removal.
West Pelzer Police Chief Scott Stoller presented information to Council regarding the three way stop which was implemented in November, 2021. Traffic has generally slowed and several unlicensed or suspended drivers and uninsured vehicles have been stopped along with several wanted individuals.
