Each year Mineral Spring Park and the Williamston Municipal Building are transformed into a magical Christmas presentation that is visited by thousands from local areas as well as many different states.
Applications are now being accepted for both the Christmas Park and Deck the Halls.
Local businesses, churches, families and individuals come together for this transformation by decorating for the season with a display in the Christmas Park or a Christmas tree in Deck the Halls of the Municipal Building, or both.
“Whether for advertisement or just for fun, your participation and support are appreciated,” a spokesperson said.
Awards for the best display and trees will be awarded during the January Town Council meeting.
“These two events have gained very much attention in the past couple of years as Envision Williamston holds a tree lighting, caroling, Christmas Market, and other festivities on the same day as the lighting of the Christmas Park and Deck the Halls. If you have never participated in these things, you will want to do so.”
