One person was injured in a two vehicle wreck Thursday on Belton Highway near Highway 77. A car struck a Jeep in the rear causing the Jeep to overturn. The driver of the car fled the scene and the driver of the Jeep was transported to the hospital by Medshore ambulance service. Cheddar and Whitefield firefighters responded along with a QRV.
