Envision Williamston Executive Director Roberta Hamby recently updated Williamston Town Council on projects.
Winter Wonderland was a “huge success” she said. “The new lights look phenominal.” Hamby said Williamston is the first municipality in South Carolina to have the special lighting installed.
Hambys said upcoming events for Envision Williamston will include a spring event with food trucks in Mineral Spring Park, the Pastor’s Breakfast, spring Bingo and possibly a spirng concert or event with a market for vendors.
Envision Williamston also donated $500 to help fund a mentor program at Palmetto Middle School. Mentor Program Organizer Erica Bruce said the donation will help cover the cost of food and other needed items, for a semi-formal end of the year luncheon for those in the program.
