The Town of Williamston MLK Breakfast was held Saturday, January 13 at the Caroline Community Center.
Themed “A Change Is Gonna Come,” the event honored the powerful legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Sam Cooke, advocating for equality and civil rights.

This year’s breakfast featured the acclaimed Dr. Nika White, a renowned authority on diversity and inclusion. Guests were treated to her keynote address, promised to shed light on the complexities and beauty of creating an inclusive society. Following her address, Dr. White signed copies of her book, “Inclusion Uncomplicated,” offering her insights on nurturing connections in diverse communities.
