In case you are wondering, in Anderson County, out of 121,928 registered voters, a total of 34,582 people voted in the Republican Presidential Primary Election held Saturday. This was a 28.51 percent voter turnout.
Donald J. Trump was the clear choice of Anderson County Republican voters with 23,717 votes. The only Republican candidate still in the primary race, former SC Governor Nikki Haley, received 10,568 votes.
Other candidates were on the ballot, but who all had dropped out prior to the primary, also received votes. Ron Desantis received 133 votes,Vivek Ramaswamy recieved 46 votes, Ryan Binkley received 34 votes, Chris Christie received 16 votes and David Stuckenburg received 16 votes.
On the information referendum questions, Question 1 received 23,782 Yes, 8,023 No.
Question 2 received 28,446 Yes, 3,806 No.
Question 3 received 27,451 Yes, 3,848 No.
