Rhythm on the River planned for May 4 – Dolly Cooper Park

The 3rd Annual AnMed Rhythm on the River 2024 will be held Saturday, May 4th from 12 Noon to 8 pm at Dolly Cooper Park, located on the Saluda River in Powdersville.
The family-friendly outdoor event is free for all attendees and will inclued a day filled with live music, food trucks, children’s activities, and local artisans.
Building on the success of last year’s event, which drew over 4000 people, Connect Powdersville, led by Chairman Johnny Harvin, said the event will offer a full day of entertainment!
“Dolly Cooper Park provides a picturesque setting for a family-friendly music festival featuring six local bands, craft makers, and delicious food options,” said Chairman Harvin. “The generous sponsorships from AnMed, Tiger Pediatrics & Fred Anderson Chevrolet, plus the support from our Community Sponsors are instrumental in bringing this event to Powdersville.”

AnMed Rhythm on the River 2024 is extending festivities with longer hours from 12 noon to 8 pm. Entertainment will include Brandi Colt & Andrew Crawford, the James Tucker Duo, The Fortunate Sons and end with Gritty Flyright, ensuring a diverse musical experience. The festival will also spotlight performances by the local Sweet Potato Pie Kids Band and the Powdersville High School Jazz Band.

A highlight of the event is the #ROTRPVL’s ever-popular Tiger Pediatrics KidsZone, offering a range of activities including face painting, balloon artists, and giant games suitable for all ages.
Additionally, over 25 local craft makers will showcase their unique creations, accompanied by an array of the best local food, dessert, and drink trucks.

The Fred Anderson Chevrolet Hospitality Sponsor is providing an upgraded festival experience that includes golf cart transportation from the parking lot directly to the festival entrance. The Hospitality Tent is also a welcoming space designed for the enjoyment and comfort of all guests in the center of the festival.
