The annual Pig in the Park Barbecue Festival and Cookoff will return to Williamston’s Mineral Spring Park on May 17 and 18.
The event features a weekend of championship cooking of barbecue, food sales, vendors and other activities.
Cook teams will compete for the Championship and the Williamston Masonic Lodge will be selling wrist bands for all-you-can-eat barbecue samples on Saturday.
Activities will begin on Friday with food sales, craft/vendor sales and children’s play area. The Eric Scott Band will be performing live music at the Amphitheater Stage for the Envision Williamston Friday night concert.
Saturday activities will include food sales, craft/vendor sales and children’s play area. The Williamston Masonic Lodge will be selling wristbands for All-You-Can-Eat barbecue samples, while it lasts! Judging of barbecue and presentation of BBQ Championship Awards will also be held on Saturday.
