The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming June 11 Statewide primary is this Saturday, May 12. If registering in person in Anderson County, the deadline is May 9.
Anyone planning to vote in the primary election must be registered by midnight, Saturday.
There are several ways to register:

To register online, go to www.scvotes.gov (requires SC Driver’s License or SC DMV ID Card)
Also, you can download a voter registration form from scvotes.gov, complete and return it to your county voter registration and elections office: By email attachment (must be received by May 12 before midnight); by fax (must be received by May 12 before midnight) or by mail (must be postmarked by May 13)
You can also visit the Anderson County voter registration and elections office. Due to a county holiday on May 10, the deadline to register in-person is May 9th.
If you have moved, make sure you are ready to vote by updating your registration.
If you have moved from one county to another, you must register in your new county by the deadline to be eligible to vote.
If you’ve moved within your county or changed your name recently, it will help ensure a smoother voting process for you and your neighbors by updating your information prior to the deadline.
