Connect Powdersville, hosts of the AnMed Rhythm on the River music festival, postponed the event last Saturday due to forecasted severe weather conditions, including lightning.
The new date for the festival is Sunday, May 19 from 1: PM to PM.
“At Connect Powdersville, safety and well-being are of our utmost importance. said Chairman Johnny Harvin. “Without the worry of inclement weather, the new date allows us to deliver a safe, exceptional and memorable event that our sponsors, vendors, and attendees expect and deserve. We look forward to welcoming the community on the new date of Sunday, May 19th.”
The family-friendly outdoor event is free for all attendees and will include a day filled with live music, food trucks, children’s activities, and local artisans.
The event is held at Dolly Cooper Park, located on the Saluda River in Powdersville. Dolly Cooper Park is located at 170 Spearman Circle, Powdersville (Greenville).
