Deadline for news and advertising for the July 8 issue of The Journal will be Thursday, July 2 at 12 noon. The Journal office will be closed from Friday, July 3-10. Items may be mailed, emailed or left in the mail drop box at the front door during the week we are closed. The Journal staff wishes everyone a safe and happy Independence Day as we celebrate freedom and the opportunity to live in the greatest country in the world.
