Williamston Police Officers investigated the following incidents: Dec. 11 – Michael Anthony Chapman, 38, 219 Tripp St., Williamston was arrested for outstanding bench warrants after officers were notified Chapman was at the Burger King, 905 Greenville Drive. SLED warrants were served on Chapman for manufacture of methamphetamine, arson third degree, and ill treatment of animals. E. T. Hutchins, K. D. Lollis investigated.
Dec. 10 – Glennita Yvette Mosley, 41, 312 East Carolina St., reported someone had shot her black 1992 Honda. The vehicle had several bullet holes. E. T. Hutchins investigated.
Dec. 10 – Edwin Anthony Ellison, 50, 305 W. Main St., Williamston and Yolanda Doreen Williams Smith, 48, 203 Miracle Mile Dr,. #146 Anderson, were arrested for open container, littering and public disorderly conduct after officers were dispatched to Main St. and Prince St. during the Christmas Parade. Reports state they were drinking 99 Peaches and then throwing the empty bottles into the middle of the parade. Two bottles were located on Main St. Ellison was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after officers found a blue pill suspected to be Xanax in his pocket during booking. T. J. Dec. 10 – Josiah James Labonte, 27, 41 Pincrest Dr., Hartwell, Ga., was arrested for operating an uninsured vehicle and no drivers license in possession and faulty equipment after a tan vehicle was observed on Main St,. with a cracked windshield. E. T. Hutchins investigated.
Dec. 9 – Michael Lee Sammons, 20, (lives in car), Williamston, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, outstanding warrants and faulty equipment after a black Ford Mustang was observed with no working license plate light. Two glass pipes, a gas mask and pipe were found in the vehicle. T. A. Striss, Cpt. E. S. Russell investigated.
Dec. 9 – Joseph Timothy McCarson, 32, 5 Hammond Road, Anderson was arrested for outstanding bench warrants with Easley City Police for burglary and petit larceny. McCarson was observed in a vehicle in the drive way at 115 W. Second St. E. T. hutchins, K. D. Lollis investigated.
Dec. 9 – John Arch Browning, Jr., 59, 108 Market St., Williamston was arrested for driving under suspension (3rd) after a black 1994 Cadillac was observed making a right hand turn onto Greenville Dr. from Market St. without using a turn signal. A passenger in the vehicle, Jody Jonathan Wiley , 22, 108 Market St. was charged with open container. Reports state an open 12 oz. can of King Cobra beer was found in the floor board of the passenger side of the vehicle. T. J. Richardson investigated.
Dec. 8 – John Terry Carlton, 38, 1 E. 3rd St., Williamston was arrested for trespass after notice after officers respnded to 905 Greenville Dr. in reference to someone asking customers for money. E. T. Hutchins, K. D. Lollis investigated.
Dec. 8 – Jamie Elizabeth Allen, 27, 108 W First St., Williamston was issued a summons (ticket) for animal running at large after a multi-colored mixed breed was observed at 108 W. 1St. Street. Reports state the dog lunged at a town employee several times. Sgt. K. J. Winn, Cpt. E. S. Russell investigated.
Dec. 8 – Steven Tyler Southern, 19, 7 Whilden Dr., Williamston reported that two white males in a white pickup truck came to the residence and stated they were there for heat/air repair service. While Southern was on the phone they left. M. E. Simmons investigated.
Dec. 8 – Howard Eugene Trammell, 48, no address, (homeless) was arrested for two outstanding bench warrants after WPD was notified that Greenville County Detention Center had him in custody. T. A. Striss investigated.
Dec. 8 – Tammy Elizabeth Parnell, 31, 1807 Old Williamston Rd., Piedmont was arrested for outstanding bench warrant after officers were notified that the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office had her in their custody. Outstanding warrants for operating an uninsured vehicle and improper vehicle licenses were served. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
Dec. 8 – Gary Lee Bryant, 71, 139 Oakwood, Dr. Belton, was arrested for driving under the influence after officers observed a blue Ford F-150 pickup at the drive through at Hardees, 1520 Anderson Dr. Sgt. K. J. Winn, Cpt. E. S. Russell investigated.
Dec. 7 – Officers investigated shot being fired in the vicinity of East Carolina St., in Wililamston. Several persons in the area stated they had not heard any shots and no suspicious activity was observed. Sgt. K. J. Winn investigated.
Dec. 7 – Tara Ann Mahan, 27, 500 Climbing Rose Ct., Fountain Inn was charged with an outstanding bench warrant for driving under suspension, after the WPD was notified by the Greenville County Detention Center that she was in custody. M. E. Simmons investigated.
Dec. 7 – Mantez Perez Hatton, 26, 25 Market St,. Williamston reported someone kicked the side of his SUV while at 318 E. Carolina St. M. E. Simmons investigated.
Dec. 6 – Maxwell Wayne Hampton, 26, 1705 Camelot Forest, Belton was arrested for outstanding bench warrants when he came to the lobby of the police department. Two bench warrants were served for no turn signal and operating an uninsured vehicle. Sgt. D. W. Bryant investigated.
