MILDRED ANNE ANDREW
Mildred Anne Andrew, 75, wife of John Andrew, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Ruth and Harold Chapman.
She retired from Greenville Hospital System and attended Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, John Andrew, are daughters, Lisa Pittman Kueper, Debbie Pittman Albertson, Anita Pittman McMillan; four grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Faw; and one brother, Harold Chapman.
Funeral service was held Friday, April 25 in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

RUBY MARIE GOSNELL ESKEW
Ruby Marie Gosnell Eskew, 93, of Greenville, widow of Jessie Wilford Eskew, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Ethel Dorn Gosnell.
She retired from Furman University’s Food Service Department and was a member of Monaghan Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Faye Cox of Pelzer and Sheila Brooks of Fountain Inn; sons, Terry Eskew and Randall Eskew, both of Greenville; sister, Clara Saxon of Greenville; brother, Jimmy Gosnell of Greenville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Saturday, April 26 at Monaghan Baptist Church. Burial followed in Graceland West Cemetery.

WILMA GAULT
Wilma Rodgers Gault, 94, of Pelzer, widow of Franklin Gault, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
She was born in Fork Shoals to the late Adger and Ellie Massey Rodgers.
She retired from the Greenville County School System as a teacher and was a member of Fork Shoals Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service. Burial followed in Cannon Memorial Park.

MARY CANUP
Mary Erwin Canup, 97, formerly of Williamston, widow of Hovie L. Canup, died Friday, April 25, 2014 in Conyers, GA.
She was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Carrie Hunt Erwin.  She was retired from Mt. Vernon Mill and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are one grandson; and a sister, Sarah Browning of Williamston.
Funeral services were held  Monday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer.
Burial was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.

CLYDE BARBRE
James Clyde Barbre, 90, of Piedmont, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at his home.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late John Belton and Hattie Mae League Barbre.
He retired from Booth Electro Systems and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are daughters, Judy Cooper of Piedmont, Joyce Barbre of Greenville, Jo Childress of Piedmont, Janet Bradberry of Pelzer; son, Jackie Barbre of Piedmont; eight grandchildren; and several  great and great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Ruby Kelly, Lucille Barbre, Sara Bagwell, all of Piedmont.
A graveside service was held Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Piedmont.

TIM EVERETTE
Timothy “Tim” Wayne Everette, 50, of Piedmont, husband of Cyndi Williams Everette, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Born in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Kenneth Wayne and Mary Ellen Lawson Everette.
He was owner/operator of ABC Locksmiths, LLC and was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Sara; brother, Randy Everette of Easley.
A memorial service was held Sunday, April 27 at Providence Presbyterian Church.

LEON PEARSON
Leon Pearson, 78, of Honea Path, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 in his home.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Russell and Sarah Lou Pearson.
He was a member of Cross Hill Church of God and retired from BASF.
He is survived by his wife Sara H. Pearson of the home; daughter, Sherry Boyter of Lavonia, GA; son, Kevin Pearson of Anderson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Earl Pearson of Belton; two sisters, Brenda Walker of Belton and Lynethia Pearson of Piedmont.
Funeral service was held Sunday, April 27 at Cross Hill Church of God. Burial followed in The Garden of Memories in Belton.

THELMA MAE JACKSON
Thelma Mae Cannon Jackson, 71, of Piedmont, widow of Evans Sims Jackson, Jr., died Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Pearl Lee Cannon. She retired from Baker’s Chapel Elementary and was a member of Grove Station Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Michael E. Jackson and Mitchell Jackson, both of Piedmont; daughter, Michelle Ellison of Moore; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Cunningham of Simpsonville; and brother, Shealy “Festus” Cannon of Kinards.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment followed.

BILLY REED
Billy Howard Reed, 86, of Williamston, husband of Ellawese Jessee Reed, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his home.
Born in Wise County, VA he was a son of the late William McKinley and Effie Wright Reed. He retired from the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Sonja Reed of Williamston; sons, Chip Reed of Port Clinton, OH, Nick Reed of Fremont, OH, and Bill Reed of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Jewel Evans, Sue Reed, Jonell Perry and Joyce Bond; brothers, Harold, Larry and Mack Reed; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

CARL WENTZKY
Carl Albert Wentzky, 81, of Williamston, husband of Barbara Jean Knight Wentzky, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late Albert and Emily Webb Wentzky. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Midway Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara K. Wentzky of the home; son, Stan Wentzky; daughter, Cindy Wentzky Harrell; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry Wentzky.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Midway Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

FRANCES ELIZABETH NEELY DURHAM
Frances Elizabeth Neely Durham, 85, of Greenville, widow of Harold William Durham, Sr., died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
Born in Greenville she was a daughter of the late Inez Hudgens and William Grady Neely, Sr.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Jane Fowler of Greer and Elizabeth D. Clark of Greenville; son, Harold William Durham, Jr., of Powdersville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 1 at 12 noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. Visitation will be prior to service from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
