The Anderson County Water Council will sponsor four free public information sessions to provide information and answer questions about oil spills and the possible effects on local water resources.
Presentations will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 1, 8, 15 and 22 at the Belton Depot, 100 North Main Street in Belton.
Peter van den Hurk, PhD, Clemson University, will provide information on petroleum spills and environmental health effects and answer questions.
