Faith Food Bank in Williamston is seeing an increase in the number of families in need of food. According to Food Bank President Gloria Pascoe, the organization serves an average of 85 families each week, consisting of 221 individuals.
“With the increase of families in need of food, we are reaching out to our local community for support,” Pascoe said.
They have set a September goal of raising $5,000 as part of their annual fundraiser.
Faith Food Bank has served the community for more than fifteen years. The are located at 308 Williams St. in Williamston.
