The Town of Williamston Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 6:30 pm on Tuesday March 26 at the Williamston Municipal Center.
The Board of Appeals will consider a request for a variance by WJH LLC, developers of Palmetto Point Subdivision to allow a reduction in the front setback from 25 ft to 15 ft.
The variance will allow them to build a house at 124 Brooks Drive which will be placed 10 ft forward from their original plan to avoid a sewer line and the potential for future issues with the foundation if placed at the 25 ft required setback. The property is a corner lot in a cul-de-sac. A sewer line and detention pond are on the back side of the property.
The meeting will be open to the public.
