The Piedmont Historical Preservation Society will sponsor a Discover Piedmont Celebration on Saturday March 2 that will include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a craft fair, live music and hotdogs.
The event will be held at the Piedmont Community building from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Chordsmen Quartet will perform at 10 am and the basketball tournament will begin at 12 p.m.
“Enjoy the day with your friends and visit the Piedmont Historical Museum,” s spokesperson said. “You will become acquainted with the amazing history of Piedmont!”
The 3-0n 3 Tournament will be Double Elimination. Entry fee is $40 per team and each team has the option of having a fourth player (sub). The tournament will be for ages high school boys and girls and up.
Deadline to register is February 23rd. There will also be a 3 point contest and half court contest with a fee of $5 each.
