CATHY RAKES
Roberta Catherine McCoy “Cathy” Rakes, 66, of Williamston, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
Born in Williamston, she was a daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Martha Jane Ensley McCoy. She was employed with Liftex Corporation in Piedmont.
She is survived by daughter, Misty Kelly of Jacksonville, FL; son, Tim Rakes of the home; brother, Terry McCoy; sister, Jane Churchill; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
VIOLA TALLEY
Viola Willis Talley, 86, of Easley, died on October 31, 2019.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Lenhardt Willis and Dessie Nations Willis and wife of the late Jonah B. Talley.
She is survived by her children Michael Talley of Liberty, Judy Dalton of Easley and Kathy Mazzoli of Easley; sister, Louellen George of Greenville; brothers L.C. “Bud” Willis of Williamston, and Jim Willis of Greenville; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
She was a member of Jones Ave Baptist Church
Funeral service was held at Jones Ave Baptist Church on Sunday, November 3.
Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
