WENDY ROACH

Wendy Perry Roach, 35, of Liberty, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of Terri Chandler Perry of Six Mile and the late James Timothy Perry.

She was part owner of Cherry Bomb Tattoo in Clemson and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Jonathan S. Roach of Easley; step-father, Donnie Perry of Six Mile; and brother, James Perry of Piedmont.

Funeral services were held Friday in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central. Burial followed in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

DALE ALEWINE

Robert Dale Alewine, 62, of Honea Path, husband of Wanda Darlene Lollis, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home.

Born in Honea Path, he was a son of the late Oscar Lee and Dollie Standridge Alewine. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Custom Home Specialties. He was twice married, first to the late Diane Lacount Alewine.

Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are; daughter, Amanda Dale Alewine of Inman; and brother, Rannie Jim Alewine of Pelzer.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 1 at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel.

SAM GLENN LUSK

Sam Glenn Lusk, 90, of Greenville, husband of Helen Margaret Fuller Lusk, died Sunday, May 29, 2016.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Samuel Hampton and Thelma Ione Lark Lusk.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was Co-Owner of Central Refrigeration Company.

He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters, Dianne Reed of Simpsonville and Libby Crowe of Easley; son, Barry Lusk of Piedmont; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Freddie Jewsbury of Easley and Winola Watt of Columbus, GA; brother, William Lusk of Easley.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 2 at 12 noon at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

BESSIE HOLCOMBE MOON

Bessie Holcombe Moon, 105, of Liberty, died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Brookdale of Central.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late John Esley and Della Alexander Holcombe.

She retired from Robinson’s Department Store in Easley and was a member of First Baptist Church in Liberty.

Surviving are a daughter, Beth Mahaffey of Decatur, GA; brother, John Holcombe of Easley; sister, Anita Greene of Powdersville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mickler B. Moon.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

MABEL CAMPBELL

Lois Mabel Pack Campbell, 87, of Abbeville, widow of William S. Campbell, died Sunday, May 29, 2016.

Born in Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Governor Manning and Mary Ethel Pack. She was retired from Professional Medical in Greenwood and a member of Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.

She is survived by daughter, Margaret Suzanne Campbell Moss of Abbeville; sister, Bonnie Partain of Belton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Tuesday at Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith Cemetery.
