PAUL FRASIER, JR.
Paul Frasier, Jr., age 70, husband of Carol Brown Frasier, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 2nd, 2013 at his home in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Born in Anderson County, He was a son of Paul, Sr. and Ruby Frasier. Paul lived most of his life in Williamston, SC. he was an electrician by vocation. His hobby was fishing.
Surviving are his children, two daughters, Allison Lynn Evans and husband Thomas of Pelzer, SC, Stacey Rasmussen of Pickens, SC; one son, Shawn Paul Frasier of Pickens, SC; one step-daughter, Heidi Goforth of Lebanon, Tenn. Also surviving are one sister, Hope F. Haynes, and four brothers, Leroy, John, Charles and Rickey Frasier.
Paul was predeceased by a daughter, Paula Lanette Christopher and a sister, Mary F. Grasty.
In addition he is survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two-step grandchildren.
Memorial service was held at Sellars Mortuary, Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Lebanon, Tennessee.

THELMA COKER
Thelma Grace McConnell Coker, 82, wife of Harold Ray Coker, Sr., died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Jackson, Sr. and Violet Lee McConnell.  She was retired from Gerber Childrenswear and a member of Eastview Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are daughters, Ravonda Schwend  of Lyman, Regina Grizzle of Williamston; son, Harold Ray Coker, Jr. of Guin, AL; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, William Dendy “Jack” McConnell of West Pelzer, Henry Eugene McConnell of Williamston, James Hubert McConnell of Aurora, CO.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 2, in the funeral home chapel of Gray Mortuary. Burial followed in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

ROBERT LEEMAN  CRISSELL
Robert Leeman Crissell, 84, widower of Hazel Mathis Crissell, died Thursday, July 25, 2013.
Surviving are a daughter; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10 at 3 p.m. at Living Sanctuary Church in Piedmont.

CARLOS MANNING CHILDS
On July 25th, Carlos Manning Childs, 56, of Piedmont, joined his loved ones in Heaven, leaving behind his wife of 36 years, Dawn VanNeel Childs. Surviving in addition to his wife is son Chip Childs of Gray Court, his son Jason Childs and daughter-in-law Lori Childs of Piedmont, and daughter Carla Barnett and her husband Christopher Barnett of Piedmont. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jordan, Makayla, Chelsea, Haley, Chylie, Canyon, and Cadence.
Carlos loved to hunt, fish, and ride 4-wheelers with his grandchildren. He was an organ donor and thru his donation he will help many. We hope our loss brings health and happiness to anyone he helped. He was a great gift to all that knew him and a great loss to all who didn’t.
He will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Always loved and never forgotten.Visitors joined the family in saying goodbye from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31 at Westville Chapel, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC.
A memorial was held on August 3, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the home on 206 Osteen Hill Rd., Piedmont, SC. to celebrate Carlos’ life. Memories, funny stories and photos were shared.

JOE GOODMAN
Joseph “Joe” Preston Goodman, 86, husband of Faye Guthrie Goodman, of Williamston, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Hosanna Health and Rehab in Piedmont.
Born in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late Joseph Preston, Sr. and Pearl Covington Goodman. He retired from the South Carolina Commission for the Blind and was a member of Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.
Funeral service was held Saturday, August 3 at the funeral home chapel of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer. Burial was Sunday, August 4 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia.

TED LIBERTY
Edward “Ted” (Hump Rampey) Liberty, 68, of Piedmont, husband of Evelyn Worth Liberty, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Lottie Davis Rampey and the step-son of the late Beaman Rampey. He retired from Air Products.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Tracy Lopez of Greenville, Tonya Barker of Piedmont; step-daughter, Wendy McQuay of Piedmont; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday, August 5 at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.

VIVIAN EVANS
Vivian Pettigrew Evans, 94, formerly of Piedmont, widow of James Troy Evans, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at Anmed Health Medical Center.
Born in Edgefield County, she was a daughter of the late Walter M.C. and Estelle Young Pettigrew.  She was a homemaker and a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church.
Surviving are son, Walter Brent Evans of Anderson; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eleven great- great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Monday, August 5 at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

JOYCE PITTMAN
Joyce Blackstone Pittman, 82, of Piedmont, wife of Harold N. Pittman, passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Orville and Ella Mae Blackstone.  She was formerly employed with Pittman’s Upholstery and a member of Grove Station Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of the home; son, Wayne Pittman of Pelzer; daughter, Miriam Pittman of Greenville; four grandchildren; one great grandson; sisters, Betty Blackstone of Piedmont, Lillian McDonald of Michigan, Nina Satterfield of Easley; brothers, Donald and Roy Blackstone, both of Piedmont.
Funeral services will be at 11 am on Thursday, August 8 in the funeral home chapel of Gray Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

ROBERT STEVEN BLAKELY
Robert Steven Blakely, 59, died at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Broadus and Mable Blakely.
Surviving are brothers, Paul Grier of Colorado and Dennis Blakely of Easley; sisters, Sandra Blakely Barbre of Piedmont and Denise Blakely of Greenville.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 9 at Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611.

Floyd Wilborn Crawford
Belton–Floyd Wilborn Crawford, 84, widower of Mamie Annie Mae Neely Crawford died Thursday, August 01, 2013.
Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late John Newton and Mary Floyd Ellison Crawford. He was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church of Williamston.
Surviving are: daughters, Nancy Richardson of Anderson and Kathy Ragsdale and husband Rick of Belton; grandchildren, Nick Ragsdale and wife Jennifer of Simpsonville, Jason and Jamie Richardson both of Anderson; 5 great grandchildren.
Service was held 2pm Saturday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was followed at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6pm until 8pm Friday at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
The family will be at the home of Kathy Ragsdale, 531 Crawford Rd. Belton.

“MIKE” ELLISON
PIEDMONT – Michael “Mike” James Ellison, 62, of 41 Piedmont Hwy, loving husband of Deborah Leopard Ellison, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at his home.
Raised in Williamston, he was a son of the late Gonzerlee and Ethel Coker Ellison.  He was owner of Upstate Contractors and a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church in Easley.  He was a devoted husband and father.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are daughter, Meghan Elizabeth Ellison of the home; sisters, Elizabeth Haney of Williamston, Jean Boggs (David) of Belton, Sue Harbin (Bill) of Piedmont; brothers, Ray Ellison (Faye) of Anderson, Harrison Ellison (Miriam) of Belton, Steve Ellison (Brenda) of Piedmont; sister-in-law, Barbara Ellison of Easley.
He was predeceased by a brother, Charles L. Ellison.
Visitation was held from 1:30 – 3:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
The funeral service followed at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial was in Graceland West Cemetery.
