Ruby Lee Chambers Suggs of Belton, 91, widow of Rev. Roy A. Suggs, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her home.
Born in Elizabethton, TN, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Anna McClain Chambers. She retired from Sam’s Wholesale Club and was a member of Restoration Chapel.
Survivors include son, Roy Timothy “Tim” Suggs of Pelzer; daughter, Teresa Suggs McCormick of Ehrhardt, SC; brothers, Darryl Chambers of Piney Flats, TN, Charles Chambers of Chuckey, TN, Bill Chambers of Bluff City, TN; sisters, Jean Osborn, Sharon Denton, Linda Baker, all of Bluff City, TN; four grandchildren and eight grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, with the service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow.

Bobby Bolding, Jr.
Robert Harold “Bobby” Bolding, Jr., 74, of Williamston, husband of Mary Elaine Henderson Bolding, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023.
Born in Knoxville, TN, he was a son of the late Robert Harold Bolding, Sr. and Mary Lucille Brewer Bolding. He retired as the Owner and Operator of Bolding’s Heating and Air and was a member of NewSpring Church, in Anderson.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Anna McCoy of Piedmont and Phyllis Wilson of Anderson; sons, David Shook of Pumpkintown, Tony Shook of Piedmont, and Robert Mayfield of West Pelzer; sister, Laraine Bolding of Greenville; twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Gray Mortuary. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, in Easley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
